ZIMBABWE ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLAR BEARER CHEQUE Z$100000  PREFIX AT IST JUNE 2006 OLD SERIES EXTREMELY FINE Here is a Zimbabwean Bearer Cheque with a value of one hundred thousand dollars Z$100000. Officially issued on 1st June 2006 and withdrawn from circulation on 1st August 2006. It was available for only 2 months! Most of these bearer cheques were exchanged in Zimbabwean banks for the new series of bearer cheques. The banks then incinerated those returned and many people who did not manage to exchange theirs on time did the same or dumped them. I got this during a trip to Zimbabwe in 2006. This Bearer Cheque is green and red in colour. It has serial number AT0935792. Signed by Dr. G. Gono Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. The watermark is a Zimbabwe Bird and the letters RBZ. There is a security strip. The back shows Victoria Falls. This note is in extremely fine condition - possibly uncirculated. I would give this a grade A+ "extremely fine". I am not an expert in grading banknotes but this looks grade A+ to me. I will give a refund if buyer is unhappy.
