(Baxter 349, Marqusee 159) This is a large 63 mm (2 1/2 inch) in diameter, 209-gram (7.3 oz) cast 1925 PURE .999 Silver Medal Honoring Paul Revere.  The medal was issued by the American Numismatic Society  and was sculpted by Anthony DeFrancisci (US Peace Dollar, 1915 SOM 12th issued).  It was produced by the Medallic Art Company (MACO). The ASW is 6.75 oz TROY.  This is an EXTREMELY RARE medal and I can only recall seeing ONE on eBay in recent years.  According to Medalsman (Presidential Antiques and Coins) the mintage is uncertain but it is estimated that at least 65 were cast.  It is in XF condition with small areas of high point wear, a number of ticks, and it features MAGNIFICENT ORIGINAL iridescent blue and pink hued toning – the Photos will NOT do it justice.  NO reserve.
