Set of 9 transportation tokens from Miami, Florida. Tokens in the lot are as follows: FL530C - White Metal - Miami Transit Company MTCo - circa 1938 - good condition FL530D - Zinc - Miami Transit Company MTCo - circa 1943 - good conditionon FL530E - Steel - Miami Transit Company MTCo - circa 1943 - very good condition FL530F - Brass - Miami Transit Company MTCo - circa 1946 - good condition FL530H - White Metal - Keys Transit Inc. - circa 1955 - very good condition FL540C - Aluminum- Mall Transport Inc., Miami Beach - circa 1960 - excellent condition The above is offered from the Raymond Ekman collection. Ray was a serious collector who accumulated thousands of tokens over the course of 40 years. During this time, he became something of an expert on the subject. Several of his articles were published by the American Vecturist Association, of which he was an active member. All information about these tokens is based on his original notes, so please do let me know if anything does not make sense to you. All of his tokens will eventually be offered for auction.
