The tokens were used to provide commuter discounts through December 2002, when transponder based tolling was introduced by DRJTBC. For several years, the Commission was redeeming old tokens that were turned in. The redemption period has ended and the Commission has decided there is no point in just storing them in their vault room. They have decided to send their inventory to a scrap metal merchant to turn them into cash. Get a piece of history while the tokens can still be found. Please ask any questions before bidding.
