Victorian Engraved Love Token or Charm-Initials CAB
This is a beautiful hand engraved Vistorian Love Token with script monogram CAB. The initials are surrounded by an elaborate border. The dime is from 1857 - amazingly clear for its age! Please check the pictures. Many victorian women wore these on pins, as bracelets or necklaces and the men wore these as watch fobs. They were remembrance tokens made from solid silver coins that were polished down on one side and then deeply engraved with the loved one's initials.
