MPCs were issued to military personnel to help curtail blackmarketing. The Series 692 are the last of the MPCs. They were good in military facilities like clubs and post exchanges. These would have easily bought a couple drinks for a serviceman.Book value for the notes is $6.00, but retailers and Shop at Home TV often charges well over double that! The notes are sharp with no tears or holes, etc. Each has good color, is very clean, very crisp and shows light use. They have mostly sharp edges and corners and strong colors. The 10 Cent note has a pair of staple holes. I'd rate them at VERY FINE, but you be the final judge with the photos which can be enlarged.So take advantage of the low starting bid and own a quality pair of America's Old Paper Money.
