South Africa 1960 Proof Set 11 pcs. gold, silver, and bronze coins. The 2 gold coins in the set are: 1 Pound (7.9881 grams/.917 fine gold), and 1/2 Pound (3.9940 grams/.917 fine gold). There is a faint red spot on the 1 Pound gold coin. An original and beautifully toned set, although the toning for the bronze coins is dark.
