Sharply detailed, low mintage, hard to find in better grades, semi-key date 1914-S Lincoln Wheat Back Cent in circulated condition. The 1914S Lincoln wheat cent is rising in value faster than the key date 1909-S VDB, 1909-S and 1914-D are, as getting just as hard to locate in any condition. Now is the time to get a 1914S before the prices skyrocket, as more Lincoln cent collectors enter the market, driving up demand (and prices!) for already very scarce dates.
These are scans of the actual coin you will receive, and has not been altered in any way to make it appear in better condition than it is. If anything, the actual coin looks far better "in hand" than it does in the scans.
With the 100th anniversary of the Lincoln cent near, the demand for early Lincoln wheat cents is skyrocketing in all dates and conditions, and they are disappearing fast as more collectors enter the coin market. With the new Lincoln cent design changing next year, and the likely possibility of the cent being discontinued altogether soon, now's the time to accumulate as many wheat cents as possible, while they are still available.
I make no attempts at assigning a specific numerical grade to any coin, since grading uncirculated or mint state coins is very subjective, and what may be a VF coin to one is an AU to someone else. The only grade I would give is a PCGS or NGC certified, slabbed coin grade, since the grading is their responsibility. You decide from the scans what the coin is worth to you, and buy the coin, not the grade.
