Own a piece of history! Military Payment Certificates, or MPC's, were military notes issued for use by US military personnel stationed in overseas countries from 1946-1973. The certificates were solely for use by the military & only in establishments of the US armed forces. The idea behind MPC's was to prevent or limit activities by military forces with respect to the black market. Offered for sale is a Series 681 $1 note issued between 1969-1970, for use during the Vietnam War. This is a nice note! No rips, tears or visible holes. Colors are still bright & retains crisp feel.
