Own a piece of history! Military Payment Certificates, or MPC's, were military notes issued for use by US military personnel stationed in overseas countries from 1946-1973. The certificates were solely for use by the military & only in establishments of the US armed forces. The idea behind MPC's was to prevent or limit activities by military forces with respect to the black market. Offered for sale is a Series 641 $1 note issued between 1965-1968, the first series used in Vietnam. This is a nice circulated note. No rips or tears.
