PLEASE DO NOT USE 18K acid to test 10K or 14K gold, IT WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THE STONE. SOME OF THE LARGER PIECES OF SOLID CAN BE SPOTTED, but the smaller pieces have to be tested. It is all random, whatever comes out on the scoop goes in the bag. We all know or SHOULD know that stamps or markings do not guarantee gold content. .
