The winner of this auction will be the proud owner of a double struck set of Canadian coinage .... This set is the ONLY set that contains ALL THREE 1973 Commemorative coins .... The nickel dollar bears a reverse design that commemorates the 100th anniversary of the entry of PEI into the Canadian Confederation .... The design depicts a replica of Province House, the PEI Provincial Legislative Building .... The 25 cent coin illustrates a mounted member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in present day ceremonial dress carrying a lance with a pennon attached .... Both rider and horse are at the attention position .... The silver dollar bears a reverse design that illustrates a mounted member of the North West Mounted Police on patrol at the turn of the century .... Both the 25 cent and the silver dollar coins honour the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police .... All six coins are mounted in a protective padded lblack leatherette case and are in EXQUISITE condition ....The leather case has a small metal replica of the Canadian coat of arms on the outside and a snap closure to keep the coins inside ...The entire case is then put in a red velvet covered cardboard slipcase to give it that extra degree of ELEGANCE .... I see no damage ....NONE to any part of this item .... As far as I know the coins have NOT BEEN TOUCHED by human hands .... A truly REMARKABLE and SCARCE item from the world of Canadian numismatics .... You would do well to add it to your collection ....
