The China Government issued 30,000 sets of stamps at the beginning of last month in order to commemorate the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Only 25,000 sets will be sold to the public, but they will only be sold in China and not abroad. The value of the stamps will rise considerably after the Olympics in August.
As you can see in the pictures, the set is packed beautifully. The set includes 2g pure gold, 30g pure silver and thin silk. The set is comprised of 16 stamps which are encased above the thin silk commemoration envelopes. Each stamp is encased above an envelope.
The package is about 16 inches (40 cm) by 14 inches (35 cm). You will received the stamp set in 3-5 days after the auction ends and payment is made.
