This is a 63 mm (2 1/2”) in diameter, 167-gram (5.8 oz) PURE .999 SILVER medal commemorating President Richard M. Nixon’s Historic 1972 “Journey for Peace” to the Peoples Republic of China.  The medal was struck of the Medallic Arts Company (MACO).  The ASW is 5.39 oz TROY - MELT value as of 6/12 is $88.78.  The medal is numbered 474 on the edge along with the medal content.  The medal is in XF-AU condition with small areas of high point wear.  I will combine postage for winning bidders of multiple items.   Look at my other auctions for more quality  Medals.    Any questions?
