Here is a nice early encased coin, both the copper cent and its aluminum enclosure in quite decent collectible condition overall, the unit measuring app. 1 & 3/8" across. There is only minimal wear on the coin, with good detail, the aluminum frame well circulated, with a small edge biff not too distracting, the coin slightly rotated but tight as a drum. A little off color, I have not cleaned this in any way. The obverse features a 1953 Denver Mint Lincoln wheat cent surrounded by an upside-down horseshoe, with "Keep Me And You Will Have Good Luck" inside the shoe, a four-leaf clover at the bottom. The reverse reads "Official Dell Comics Club" around the top, with "Member" at the bottom. Mightier than an average cent! $1.99 | ||||||||||||
