Newfoundland coinage was heavily circulated, and is normally found very worn as a result, since TWO DIFFERENT bank failures within a 25 year period TWICE rendered ALL paper money WORTHLESS. Understandably, nobody trusted paper money after that. This COIN is a NICE, VERY SCARCE, 1898 Silver 50 Cent that has NO PROBLEMS- just honest even wear, with STRONG DETAIL REMAINING.
