DESCRIPTION: Listing is for a Medallic History of The Jewish People, developed by The Judaic Heritage Society issued by Franklin Mint featuring ' LEVI EHKOL ' . This project was conceived by Robert Weber, an academic and educator. Very fine artistic detail on the medal. The metal is solid bronze in cameo proof condition, with mirror polish finish and weights 1 ounce. The reverse of the medal has a short historical or biography description quotations. This is a very hard to find medal and a popular selling item. These medals were issued in 1969 and not many sets survived to date. Each medal is stamped with 3 hallmarks on the smooth edge, and a limited edition number. This set is #0028, which is a low number and early set being issued compared to a total of #9999 sets. It would make a great gift to anyone based on persons, entities, organization, historical events and places. This medal could be made into a pendant or framed along with any historical or family document. There are a total of 120 medals, and it is very expensive to purchase the whole set. I am selling them individually so this gives everyone an opportunity to own a part of this collection. Size: 40 mm diameter. All my auctions are great sellers, so bid with confidence. The piece is more beautiful than the picture above, as the digital camera did not capture the beauty of this piece. Bid early and be seen, procrastinators will feel sorry for themselves. Treat yourself to this beautiful piece or get it for someone you truly love. Good luck!
