DESCRIPTION Offered is this superb Silver Roman Coin. It is a Denarius of Septimus Severus and dates to c AD 194. This coin is from the Dereham Hoard found in the UK between 2004 and 2007 and subsequently sold in auction by DNW on 9th April. This is a good opportunity to own a coin from an important British Hoard. The obverse shows the bust of Septimus Severus. The reverse legend reads LIBERO PATRI and shows Liber standing facing left holding Wine Cup and Thyrsus with Panther at feet. This coin is in good condition.
