Case and certificate of authenticity for displaying your Canadian Olympic $100 gold coin 1977-1981, 1983-86, NO 1982. You select the year when you pay for the case. I have at least one of each of these (NO 1982) and will sell them for a buy it now bargain. This is the Royal Canadian Mint's way of displaying the coin. The cases changed over the years. They all have leatherette type exteriors (see sample in the photo). From 1978-1986 they stamped the date on the spine in gold. Early years had the coins in a rectangular plastic holder with the surfaces exposed. Later years had the coin encased in a round plastic holder. GOLD COIN NOT INCLUDED.
