The three notes from Belarus are valued at 50 Kapeek, and 25 and 100 Rublei. The fronts show pictures of animals (squirrel, moose and buffalo) and the backs are all the same, showing the country crest of a knight on horseback, and the issuing year of 1992. The only difference is the value listed and the colors. The Rublei notes have serial numbers shown on the fronts, to the left of the animal pictures. The Kapeek note has no serial numbers.

Belarus, officially the Republic of Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe, that borders Russia to the north and east, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the north. Its capital is Minsk; other major cities include Brest, Grodno, Gomel, Mogilev and Vitebsk. A third of the country is forested, and agriculture and manufacturing are its strongest economic sectors. |
