In the exergue, there is a bust of a cherub flying to the left with a spear (probably Eros?) Rev/ In a Country Landscape, a young Lady is standing to the left, close to a cartouche. It reads : "Comice Agricole de Creon et de l'Entre Deux Mers, Gironde (Bordeaux)". Information and bibliography: This silver plated bronze medal medal was probably engraved by Charles Marey (as it shows Ch. Marey's signature at the reverse). He engraved many dies for medals during the second part of the 19th Century, as well for the Paris Mint than for different Companies (Insurance, lawyers..) This silver plated bronze medal medal staid in its original paper and original box during almost one century..when I took it out of its paper for the pictures, it showed a beautiful blue, yellow and grey toning. Of course, I didn't clean it at all. Behind and under the auspice of this patina, there is a beautiful medal! Comment: This is a very nice silver plated bronze medal. It shows also a very great obverse .It was engraved for "Cantons de Creon et du Carbon Blanc, 75eme Anniversaire" (Bordeaux County : Creon & Entre Deux Mers,it is the place of famous production of Bordeaux most famous white wine. 75th Anniversary-I-e 1910) It's also in a great condition (in fact, close to a MINT GRADE) with a light grey silvered patina. It is still in its Original Box (and still in its original paper of protection!). On the edge : " Bronze" and an edge mark: " cornucopia?".
