This is a 1989 Rhode Island Governor's Duck Stamp with a number on each stamp. Art is by artist Robert Steiner. Stamps were issued by the state which was required to hunt waterfowl and thus is considered a "duck" stamp. The Governor's signature is overprinted on the stamp. Governor's Edition is printed at the bottom of the stamp. The face value is $7.50 + $50.00. The current retail value is $65.00. This auction is being started at a fraction of the retail price. Stamp was purchased by the original collector from a major stamp dealer thus assuring an excellent condition as shown in the scan.Stamp photo is from file photo and will not be same number shipped. Shipping: Shipping is $3 in the continental U.S. and includes insurance. International shipments may be extra. Residents of Alaska and Hawaii need to contact us for a shipping quote.
