1978 Canada - Commonwealth Games - Silver Dollar The 1978 silver dollar commemorates the 11th Commonwealth Games, held in Edmonton, Alberta, August 3-12 of that year. The reverse design features the symbol of the Games in the centre, and the official symbols of the ten sports which comprise the Games along the perimeter. The obverse was made specially for this issue. This coin comes in a black leatherette case, coat of arms, maroon and black plastic insert with a sleeve, printed coat of arms and Canada on it, encapsulated. This coin is perfect for any collection.
