I recently obtained a large Peace Dollar private collection of the highest order. The obverse and reverse of this 1922-S Peace Dollar has reflective qualities that are stunning. You have to see this coin to truly appreciate it as as the photos do this coin no justice. This coin retains icy mint lustre as if it were just minted. This 1922-S was stored in a GEM roll of magnificent Peace Dollars for many many years by the previous collector. This magnificent specimen retains sparkling mint luster and frosting and has acquired magnificent light toning that gives this beauty superior eye appeal. All details on this beauty are quite clear and distinct. This coin has very few contact marks. Any marks that you might see on this gorgeous coin are basically invisible to the eye, including the extremely light marks on Lady Liberty's neck and cheek. These marks are no where as pronounced or visible as in the photos. My photos exaggerate contact marks greatly. Look closely at the photos. The detailing is phenomenal!! The photos do not do justice to this high grade specimen. The past few months has seen the Peace dollar market catch on fire. In a recent wholesale pricing there was a front page blurb on "heightened interest and dazzling demand for Peace dollars". This market is about to EXPLODE after many years of this coinage being undervalued. I believe Peace Dollars are the last undervalued coinage that we'll see for a long time. Recently there was some debate regarding if my coin photos had been manipulated. I do not own Photoshop. I have never used Photoshop, and, I wouldn’t know how to use it if I did own it. I sent the discussed coin to an independent person with whom I’d never had contact prior to his assessment of the coin in question.
