Crawford" and the Big RED Treasury Seal on the front. On the back state it states "Act of March 3rd 1863" and "Act of June 30th 1864."William H. Crawford: Was the both the "Secretary of the Treasury," and  "Secretary of the War" from 1815 to 1825.Feel free to ask any and all questions. This is a original note from that time period, not a reprint!This note is known as fractional currency which was issued from August 21, 1862 through February 15, 1876. Please feel free to ask any and all questions.
