This 1865 Three Cent piece is in excellent condition. The Liberty in her hair, United States of America and the date on the front side are very readable. It looks like when it was stamped that the press was off just a hair and the coin was misstamped on the left hand side of the coin. The III and the wreath on the back side are clear but faded too. I got this at an estate auction so I don't know any history about it but it hasn't had much use or wear for its age. Thank you for looking.
