Up for auction tonight is a Civil War store token or patroitic medal. My father and I collected these many years ago and I found a few of them and don't care as much as I did. This is from 1863 from L.J.Staples wholesale Grocer and Confectioner, 185 Woodward Ave., Detroit. The obverse is a close match to an Indian head cent. I would grade the coin a VF/XF.
