Beautifully Designed Georgia 50 Cent Note With Workmen & State Seal NR This is a very attractive original 1863 dated 50 cent note from the State of Georgia. It was issued from Milledgeville, Georgia in January of 1863 and is so dated along the top of the note. This note has a fine design. It has the likeness of three workmen talking in the top center of the note. On the top of the note it has the oval green ink stamp of the Georgia Treasury Department. In the bottom of the center it has the famous Georgia state seal clearly visible. The note is in circulated condition that has a very pleasing look. This pattern of note was hand signed and numbered. It measures approximately 5.25 inches by 2.5 inches in overall size. The note comes in an acid free holder for display and preservation. Being sold at no reserve so you guys set the price.
