1862 Confederate States of America $2. T-43. The very scarce issue with the green overprint. Has the vignette of the South Striking Down the Union. PMG has Certified and graded this note as Very Good 8. PMG also has made a note that there are splits. All I can tell you is that while there maybe they are awfully trivial and perfectly permissable on a note of this grade. I dont see anything that even measures a quarter inch so whatever is there is quite normal for this thinner paper issue. The note otherwise appears to have the color and detail of a full Fine. whats nice is that while you may buy this one in the $100 +/- range, if it was being offered as a Fine it would be well over $200 ! So you have a reasonable chance to save good money and still come away with a very nice example of this tough issue. OPENS at 9.99 only and SELLS at NO RESERVE. | ||||||||||||
