This auction is for a very early 1761 North Carolina 20 shilling note. The note is dated April 23rd 1761, it has been graded and authenticated by PMG as a very good 8 note. The note was backed by period paper long ago, that just made it stronger and helped to preserve it for us to collect. This note has nice delicate hand signed sigs and is individually serial numbered. The note has great colors and is a shaprt example of North Carolina number 124. These are nice affordable collectible notes.
